DATE OF ESTABLISHMENT:
This foundation was established on May 14, 2019, in the city of Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia.
REASONS FOR ESTABLISHMENT:
It was founded to help the poor people living in Somalia who lack official assistance. The foundation was established due to the shortcomings in providing support for education, healthcare, building Quranic schools, general schools, digging wells, restoring historical sites, mosque maintenance, mosque construction, sponsoring orphans, paying debts for poor people, and providing food and Eid gifts to those in need.
Mission and Vision:
MISSION: Our mission is to prevent hunger by providing free food to needy families, and we are committed to ensuring that we do not fall short as long as hunger exists.
VISION: The vision of our organization is to have a global impact where everyone has access to sufficient and nutritious food for free, as well as the necessary resources for a stable life or livelihood opportunities.
PRINCIPLES: We are committed to upholding Islamic values, equality, compassion, and innovation.
DURATION OF THE FOUNDATION: The foundation will operate for 1 to 20 years. Our goal is to address issues in conflict zones and distribute 10,000 food packages.
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:
Executive Committee: The Chairman, Vice-Chairman, General Secretary, Head of Inspection, and the Secretary are responsible for carrying out the foundation’s activities.
STAFF: The marketing team may include unpaid volunteers who will assist without compromising their rights. The team will consist of six permanent staff and more than 50 people who help with cooperation and assist with food distribution on designated days.
ACTIVITIES OF THE FOUNDATION: Education, healthcare, agricultural development, and marine resources development, construction of Quranic schools, general schools, well digging, restoration of historical sites, mosque maintenance, mosque construction, orphan sponsorship, paying debts for the poor, and providing food and Eid gifts to those who have nothing.
SOURCES OF INCOME: Donations from business people, international donors, community contributions, government grants, individual donations, corporate donations, and funds collected from the foundation’s staff.
BUDGET: Annual operating budget estimates include staff salaries, rent, and additional services like office supplies, internet, electricity, water, sanitation, and other essential expenses.
